My nights rarely fail to leave me without something memorable that I can’t recall, last night was no exception to that rule. I wasn’t in the mood for anything crazy but when I picked up my fiancée at the airport, she wanted to go out.
Immediately I knew it was going to be a Mansion night since she hasn’t seen it since they renovated, absurd, I know, and it happens to be one of my favorite places on the beach lately. I can’t remember much but I do remember one thing without any difficulty, George Acosta.

George Acosta is an artist I’ve known since he began playing in the ‘90’s. One of his greatest qualities is that he has always allowed his style to continuously evolve. Many artists achieve stardom and maintain a following for a few years, George Acosta has held his place through 2 decades and is going strong. When I heard he was at headlining Mansion in Miami I was surprised since I know he hasn’t played at the venue since it was called Level, needless to say I was glad.
My series Press Play has helped me develop a lovely relationship with Mansion Night Club on Washington Ave in SoBe. My team and I have had the opportunity to interview countless DJ’s at this EDM cathedral. Last night, something was different. There was electricity in the air.
Patrons young and old were out and about. Miami residents are known to support their own more so than most other states; we love “ The U”, Dolphins, Heat, and Marlins unconditionally. This love clearly extends to George Acosta, because he brought out the locals in masses.
